MOTHER'S DAY

MOTHER'S DAY ASSEMBLY

9TH MAY 2024

Mother's Day is a wonderful occasion to honor and appreciate the mothers and mother figures in our lives. It's a day dedicated to showing gratitude for their love, care, and sacrifices. People often celebrate by spending time with their mothers, giving them gifts, or simply expressing their love and appreciation through gestures, cards, or heartfelt words. It's a beautiful opportunity to recognize the significant role mothers play in shaping our lives and to make them feel special and loved.

Classes II & III, also showed their gratitude to their Mothers through a beautiful assembly on 9th May 2024

WORLD HEALTH DAY

 WORLD HEALTH DAY

5TH APRIL 2024
#CLASSES 2&3

Every year on April 7th, the global community comes together to celebrate World Health Day. This significant day is not merely about acknowledging the state of health around the world, but it serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility towards promoting and ensuring good health for all.
The tiny tots of Classes 2 & 3, also contributed their bit by bringing in a healthy lunch and speaking a few sentences on it. (Class 3). The students of Class 2 made a Healthy Plate by pasting pictures of healthy food and thus understanding the importance of A Balanced Diet.

TRIUMPH -A VENTURE OF EXPRESSIONS

TRIUMPH - A VENTURE OF EXPRESSIONS

Theatre presentations by kids are a wonderful way to foster creativity, build confidence, and enhance communication skills. These presentations often involve children performing plays or skits, which can range from adaptations of famous works to original pieces created by the children themselves.
TRIUMPH - A Venture Of Expressions, in association with Helen O Grady, Drama Academy, was organised in our school. The students of Classes II & III, showcased their excellent drama skills, confidence and team spirit.
DLDAV, believes that participating in theatre presentations provides numerous benefits for children. It helps them develop their creativity and imagination, as they have to think about their character’s motivations and reactions. It also improves their communication skills, as they have to project their voice and articulate their lines clearly. Additionally, it builds their confidence, as they have to perform in front of an audience.
